Kristal Fotheri My husband and I took our 16 year old daughter on a 2 day overnight shore excursion to Cairo along with 9 other passengers from our ship. We had an amazing experience!! No complaints at all. Our tour guide, Moustafa, was excellent and radiated passion as he talked about his country and the Egyptian sites he took us to. From the moment we met Moustafa we felt very comfortable and at ease. Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was also very kind and went out of his way to meet our every need, including side jaunts for turkish coffee and helping us to purchase several beautiful cartouches. The trip included two full days visiting the Pyramids (sound & light show, a visit inside the pyramid and camel rides on the Giza plateau), Egyptian Museum, Mohammed Ali Mosque, Saqqara, and Memphis. After a long first day, we spent a very comfortable night at the beautiful & luxurious Oberoi Mena House very near to the pyramids and a delicious breakfast. His company had all of this flawlessly arranged—no issues at all. The van was very comfortable and our driver was excellent, despite the crazy Cairo traffic : ) We felt very safe throughout our tour!!  Day 01

Arrival to the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo international airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs, then escorted to your selected hotel.

Day 02

Morning visit of the great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. From here we drive to the Egyptian museum, famous for its antiquities dating back some 50 centuries from Egypt’s Pharaonic period, including the fabulous treasures of King Tut. Later we drive you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Cairo & Mount Sinai

After breakfast & check out of the hotel, visit to the Citadel of Saladin, and the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and then you will be transferred by private A/C car to Moses' Mountain, Gebel Musa, of the prophet MOSES ( 8 HOURS). Check in at your hotel & overnight for climbing.

The Canyon

  Itinerary: 5 nights / 6 days

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival in Cairo our representative will meet you assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & collection. Transfer from the airport via private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 2: Giza, Saqqara & Memphis

Following breakfast, check out of hotel. The day starts with a guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerionos to view these spectacular man-made monuments. Afterwards a tour of the great Sphinx; guarding the Royal Burial Chambers and temple of Cheops.  we will have our Lunch and

Then you will be transferred to Saqqara to visit the step pyramid of Djoser which is considered to be the first Pyramids in the history.

Finally, a visit to Memphis to explore the area and its monuments.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum & Islamic  Cairo

Your guide for the day will pick you up and begin your guided tour in the Egyptian Museum which is considered to be the most ancient museum in the world, you will have a guided tour inside to watch the golden treasure of Tut-Ankh-Amun & a great gallery of statues & portraits….etc

Our next stop is in Islamic Cairo - we start at the Citadel fortress with a visit to the Mohammed Ali Mosque (the alabaster mosque). The Citadel that was built by Salah-El-Din in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.

Following into Coptic Cairo home of some of the oldest Christian churches in the world and retrace the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. We will visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and it was believed to have been built at the end of the 3rd century. Built on the outer wall you will see the Greek Church of St. George.

Day 4

Morning  after breakfast  ...check out from your hotel and then trip for about 7 hours  check in your hotel there and 12 mid night u will climb prophet  Moses' Mountain in Sinai and then short visit to monastery of Saint Catherine followed by a 2 hour drive to visit the White Canyon.   Bedouin dinner and overnight stay in Bedouin tent.

Day 5

3 hours driving to visit the colored canyon and Nuweiba city and then your trip back to Cairo  apprx. 7 hours arriving around 10 pm  in Cairo, check in hotel

Day 6

Transfer to Cairo international airport .
